Privacy Policy

SeekVero publishes independent product comparisons and practical guides. This policy describes the current website and its operator-run research tools.

Information handled by the website

You can read SeekVero without creating an account. The public website has no registration, payment, newsletter subscription or Google account connection form. If you email us, your email address and the information you choose to send are processed to respond to your request.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information to serve and protect the website. On pages where Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google receives page-view and device/browser information and may use analytics cookies. Our custom events record affiliate-link clicks, other external-link clicks and reaching 75% of a page. Event fields include the page path, language, link domain, external destination URL and, for affiliate links, product and button location. We do not add your name or email address to these custom events.

Google OAuth and Google Ads API

There is currently no visitor-facing Google OAuth sign-in or authorization flow. SeekVero does not request access to visitors' Gmail, Drive, contacts or Google Ads accounts and does not store visitor Google OAuth access or refresh tokens.

Our operator is testing service-account OAuth authentication for the Google Ads API for internal keyword-demand research. The intended use is to retrieve aggregate keyword ideas and historical search metrics for article planning, not to create ads, spend money or manage visitors' campaigns. Production API access has not yet been established. The current research workflow uses operator-exported Google Keyword Planner CSV files.

Data use and storage

Keyword CSVs and local research reports can contain search terms, aggregate search estimates, advertising competition and bid ranges, country/language settings, source URLs and lookup dates. They are stored in the operator's file-based research workspace and can inform article selection and writing. They are not individual search histories. The website does not maintain a visitor account database.

Operator service-account credentials and account identifiers are held in local credential/configuration files, separate from public article content. During the authentication test, a short-lived Google access token was held in process memory; it was not printed or saved by the test.

Third parties and sharing

Google processes analytics data, and Vercel hosts the website. Operator research tools can send selected keyword metrics and public research material to OpenAI to assist article preparation; these are not visitor Google account data. Affiliate destinations may use their own cookies and tracking when you follow a link, under their own policies. SeekVero does not sell Google user data or share visitor Google account data with affiliate partners; the current website does not obtain that account data.

Security

The production website uses HTTPS. Environment and credential files are excluded from Git tracking by project ignore rules. The current authentication test does not print credentials or tokens. These safeguards do not guarantee that every transmission or storage system is risk-free.

Retention and deletion

The local research files currently have no automatic deletion schedule; they remain until the operator removes them. Analytics and hosting-log retention depend on the relevant provider settings; we do not claim a fixed retention period that has not been verified. There are no visitor Google account tokens stored by this site to delete. Contact us to request deletion of information you supplied in an inquiry or information we can associate with you; applicable legal obligations may limit deletion.

Your choices and rights

You can manage or clear cookies in your browser and use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information or object to its use. We may need enough information to verify and locate your request. We cannot identify an individual visitor from aggregate keyword statistics.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our data practices change. Any future visitor Google account integration will need an updated disclosure before that collection begins.
